it seems to me that some officials are already part of the discussions here(not just in this article). but obviously even if they hear what ordinary people like most of us here says, they still don't know how to make healthy discussions and not open to suggestions and neither ready to accept comments and opinions of others. you, officials should know how to respect first before you become a good servants of the people. clean your conscience, if you still have! well, it's always never too late for the betterness of everything... goodluck to you!

On Patrick, Crab & Michael : (My Own Personal View)
I presume we all have same feathers here! Comments we had posted would outdo even the best commentators of the White House. But, I’m not like some bloggers here, kept in our closets, in slumber and still!! I’m sorry but I have to oppose in naming the leaders as idiots because simply, they’re not!! Some might not even have the education and profession we attained, but in running a government, the mere dedication and deep love for our town will be most considered. The leader is given a mandate, and he must repay them by simply serving them with pure honesty and dedicated service.
We had sad experience before of a a leader, who perfectly fit to the highly educated character a Baras leader needed. But, what transpired? That was the dark age of Baras!! Each day of his term was like Friday the 13th to many. Cases were filed, opposing leaders were threatened, finances were mismanaged, there was huge armory in the mayor’s squad, employees were scared, and sadly, millions of pesos were taken from the government. Baras was indebted after his term by a whopping 10M pesos. Baras electorate was betrayed, and fooled by a leader, with your preferred adjectives, INTELLIGENT OR A BETTER ONE.
Baras has a leader now who is highly dedicated to his job. The issues being hurled on his administration are errors done by people around him. Of course, he is to be blamed because it is his command responsibility. So, he must doubly work in cleaning his backyard of pests or this term might be his waterloo. I believe he is doing it now!! Too bad to lose the political splendor he has worked for eons.
And for you guys, I’m proud of you! Of course our comments here are merely expressions while probably taking respites from our tasks. But only guys like you who can spare time to do somme insights on our town will have the same love and dedication to Baras. We might even disagree on a lot of issues, but the mere concern you guys are showing and using some precious minutes will be enough to cite you as Baras lovers. Thanks kabayan and let us remain watchdogs!

Nice comments Crab and Patrick!!! Crab, your statement seems to fit in a scene of a reality show. Everything you said are true!! But, according to Madam President, the huge problem is global and the government officials are not to be blamed. Palagi na lang ganyan!!! Pagtumaas ang gasolina, kasalanan ng OPEC, Middle East, mga cartels sa Saudi, etc…, at sila, mga malilinis!!! I got your point on that organic rice!! Why too much publicity on organic rice, or organic agriculture, when in reality, you can’t see substantial quantity of them? Di ba yan ang point mo? I think the Mayor will make a drastic action on that, and we just need to prolong our patience!!! Wait lang !(the consistent phrase in our txt msgs., di ba?). As to the officials having a c. mentality - Hindi naman lahat! I see the mayor as hard-working, with high level of political will, a booster of morale for our kababayan, at mahal niya talaga ang bayan natin!! Kaya lang, may mga tao na nasa paligid niya na nakakasira rin. Parang anay sa kahoy, kalawang sa bakal, amag sa tinapay.. I’m sure the mayor will not leave things as they are or it might worsen to an unrepairable state. Baka hindi na niya makita ang tamang medisina kung masyadong late na. I don’t see any current leader pa naman to continue his leadership. Sayang naman ang sinimulan!!!

hi herbert, it's sad that the owner of the MASKI signage was not able to defend himself about his business, bcoz he was not an educated one, i doubt it if he even understands what an internet is. However, to simply put an explanation to this, MASKI is the name of the repairman, a very decent young lad who's making a living out of REPERing the above mentioned stuff. Pls. note that this post is quite upsetting.
