Party under the sun
Posted on March 21, 2009, 1:21 AM under Religious AffairsAs Parish Pastoral Council president Hermy Estrabo said, “history was made” last March 19 when the street dance competition highlighted the day’s feast in honor of Saint Joseph, Husband of Mary.

Nine barangays participated in the street dance which lasted for almost three hours, under the scorching heat of the summer. The festivity started with a mass officiated by His Excellency Bishop Gabriel Reyes, together with other priests in the Diocese of Antipolo. Former mayor Dionisio Donato Garciano and Mayor Wilfredo Robles and some councilors attended the mass.

Here are the winners of the street dance. (If I had the photos mixed up, please post a comment and correct the entries. I was busy taking pictures. Photos for each barangay will be uploaded as soon as they are edited.)
