That’s how Joey de Leon described Engineer Santos Musa in the November 9 episode of Mel and Joey. Together with Mel Tiangco, the hosts visited Macau as part of their anniversary special where they toured four Asian tourists spots.

Santos “Toto” Musa, of course is just one of the Filipinos, and a Barasenian at that, who makes a living in Macau. He was a consultant in building the Venetian Macau Hotel and Resort and the Macau Cultural Center. He also helped renovate the Macau Stadium. He was also the senior Mechanical Engineer for airconditioning systems during the construction of the macau Tower and Convention Center.

He’s currently working for the construction of the City of Dreams, an “underwater themed” casino resort with 1, 400 hotel rooms and 500 gaming tables. Prior to Macau, Toto also worked as a project engineer at an airport project in Hong Kong.
The 47-year old native of Romblon has been living in Macau for 14 years now. He is happily married to Evangeline and was blessed with six children.

One of the children is Kay, my classmate in elementary. I came to knew that his dad was featured on TV when she and my other classmates dropped by to the house last Nov. 29 for some get-together. The TV show also featured other Filipinos, Graciano Albalog and Pete Cuevas who also excelled in their chosen professions.
You can watch the video at WatchPinoy.com. The feature on Toto starts at 15:21 and ends on 16:41.
