What have they done wrong?

It must have been difficult being a politician. You get all sorts of names and labels. It seems that everything you do is wrong. People vote for you because they believe in you, yet when you make decisions, they bash and criticize you. You do things that are noble and are not recognized, yet when you do one mistake, people dump you.
A lot of comments here in BRO point to politicians being corrupt but do not really offer any verifiable proof. It’s not my aim to defend any leaders in local government. Rather, I’d like to fire up a discussion so that these people will realize where they have failed. We should not resort to ad hominem and hasty generalizations. Let’s go into specifics. What are the decisions of our local leaders you believe should have not been made? What actions did they do that you feel only worsened a problem? What projects have they implemented that you think did not help the community? What did you hear them say that you feel is inappropriate?
Hopefully, by answering these questions, politicians will realize their mistakes (or what we may think as mistake).

It’s nice to be the first to comment here. Basically we are putting our concurrent public officials in the firing line.
Sad to say am not that RADICAL and will not fire the shot at these guys unless I have my facts to back it up. Meanwhile let me run thru sources, gossips and street talks and see if its worth bringing up here.
I do hope this will not be a mud slinging gangbang escapade against our public officials since elections are just over the corner. Please no black propagandas and if you have something to say against whom then back it up with true facts and evidence NOT just mere HEARSAYS…

Yes, that’s right, no black propaganda. Everyone should be responsible of whatever comments they are about to post in this website. Ok lang ang personal attacks if its really well publicized, but we should more focus on the coffer of Municipal Government because that’s people money, and everyone has the right to complain if its justifiable, but if its not, we better shut up.. We must be responsible citizen in dealing with this kind of issue.
Although, we are free people, and nobody has the right to tell us what to think, what to say and not to say, but our attempt here to share few words should be with caution, but it doesn’t follow that because this is a very critical issue we are not allowed to post firing statements. Let us just be careful in posting comments especially if theres no warrant of justification. Remember that even the Rules of Court never allow theory or hearsays…

According to wikipedia, a politician (from Greek “polis”) is an individual who is involved in influencing public decision making through the influence of politics or a person who influences the way a society is governed. This includes people who hold decision-making positions in government, and people who seek those positions, whether by means of election, coup d’√©tat, appointment, electoral fraud, conquest, right of inheritance or other means. Politics are not limited to governance through public office. Political offices may also be held in corporations, and other entities that are governed by self-defined political,processes.
Here the politicians who are in focussed are those people who are in govt. service binded by the fact that they were trusted and elected to serve the people in return of the salaries they got from the taxes of the people–these I think are the main reason also why they are always question and blame in any instances that might happen in one society they are governing. All politicians of the Philippines from the govt sector including of
Baras are not exempted from that negative categorization-kurakot, sinungaling atbp. As a civil servant it is really very hard, because the burden of proof to show that they are not “kurakot, sinungaling atbp” always lies in their hands.
In case of Baras, I have no capacity to answer those question raised by the writer (Mr. Carigma) since I am not physically present in Baras. I have no personal knowledge what are their programmes and its impact to the people. But thru BRO (through the comments–positive and negative from the people) some questions came to my mind. Let me mention some of it:
First: What are the programmes of the local govt. of Baras for education not only for the young but also for the adult citizens? Do they offer a FREE schooling for computer lesson or any vocational program like sewing lesson that will enhance and improve not only the mental ability but also the lifestyle of their people especially those ordinary people who are always branded as mga tsismosa, sugarol atbp?
2nd: Do they produce or create local but legal jobs for the ordinary people to make them earn even meager income?
3rd: What are the laws they have created to protect the local and small entreprenuers or businessmen of Baras?
Let me just reiterate that these questions are not trying to override or answer the questions raised by the writer but just a plain questions that can be clarify also by anybody who has enough knowledge about the management of the current government officials of our town.

To all Baras-”kabayans”:
Matagal na po akong wala sa Baras (over 30 years) pero I often visit at least every 2-3 years, as possible I want to be every year.
Last time nag bakasyon ako ay hindi ko yata nagustuhan ang traffic, maduming kalsada (sewer every side of the road) at basura sa mga kanto ng daan.
Heto po sana ang mga tanong ko kung meron na silang development sa mga sumusunod, at kung meron man paki mention lang para magaan ang loob ko na bumakasyon uli.
I should like them to do more priorities on the ff:
1. – Town Sanitation
– Garbage collection and proper disposal
– Preservation of Baras river and good
farm irrigation system
– Regular spraying over the town to kill
mosquitoes.
2. – Road maintenance and strict traffic
regulation.
3. – Additional police force and crime watch.
4. – Supplemental educational/vocational prog.
for low average family.
5.- Accessible health centers/clinic
6. – Franchising or encouragement for business
opening in-town.
Marami pa po sana akong dapat idagdag pero ito pong mga nabanggit ko ay siguro naman ay madali nilang ipalakad kahit limited lang ang pondo ng bayan.

Just my own point of view: For over five years under the Robles Administration, I see a community that is vastly improved not only in terms of economic and social standing, but also in touching people’s lives. Its undeniable, the facts are recorded in this website, with the futile efforts of the Sangguniang Bayan and being the approving committee in every project, the Town being the first Organic Town in the country, is doing well. They are the set of officers who graciously gave the constituents the opportunity to gain better access to the environment, if only the constituents were encouraged to nurture themselves so that they may use the learning experience they get to make a difference in the world that they live in.
Learning from the mistakes of the past Administration, the current Municipal Mayor in his capacity to lead in its town improvement, with the small amount of funding as counterpart from the national government, well distributed to 10 barangay’s to grace the constituents better facilities much needed in their daily leaving.
Also on the record, the Municipal Government in its first time of history, were able to collect business license taxes amounting to 3.9 million in its 1st quarter. An affirmative implications that the local economy is improving and local entrepreneurs are framed into a good business practices duly supporting the local government ordinances in a way of filing business licenses for its community development. Why the people support the ordinances depends on the good and advance leadership, none of the people can arrogate wisdom and maturity over the proper perspective and efficiency of a good leader. Maybe not perfect but worth enough to the applause of anyone has to offer.
We all know that the leader can’t make it on his own, Maybe by his humble ways of issuing directives to his employees, and also by gracing his employees an step increment annually, all jobs will come out better if not even the best. One should never forget, that when dealing with your fellowmen, it should be sincere, with honesty, and in good faith.

Ang hiling ko lang sa mga kasalukuyang namumuno sa lokal na konseho at sanggunian ay magkaroon ng kusang palo o initiatibo o programa na magkaroon ng mga bagong daan, kalsada, kalye na pwedeng dumaan ang mga sasakyan. Sapagkat ang bagong daan ay umpisa ng bagong kumunidad na kung saan ay mag uumpisa ang pagkakaroon ng kabahayan, negosyo at lipunan na tiyak na magkakaloob ng bagong pag asa at pagunlad sa lugar.
Sa dinami dami nang panahon na nagdaan ay ang masasabi ko ay walang ginawa ang mga namuno o namumuno o ang mga kumakatawan ng aming lugar sa Bo. Santiago, sa loob ng mahigit 40 na taon akong nanirahan ay wala man lang naisagawa o naituloy na bagong kalsada sa Bo.Santiago. Kaya sa mga namumuno at sa mga matagal ng natutulog sa silya ng kapangyarihan ay kumilos naman kayo sana po magkaroon ng bagong kalsada na bagong kalsada sa ating Baryo. Handa po kaming mag donate ng right of way di na kailangan pa kayong magbayad libre na kaming magbibigay ng lupa para sa bagong daan. Pwede rin kayong magkapera sa proyektong ganito, sabihin ninyo lang na may proyekto kayong bagong daan at iyung ibabayad ninyo sa mga tatamaan kalsada na malaking pabor sa mga may ari ay pwede ninyo ng ibulsa or gastusin sa ibang proyekto ng sagayon ang lahat ay panalo.
So whoever that politician/s is/are, this is your chance to have money and at the same time, the new road that will be built can be named after you so it will be your lasting legacy in Baras. I hope that politicians representing B. Santiago will initiate this move and if ever this road will pass on my land, I will support your candidacy.

There are three or more classification of roads, but i will only mention three. A provincial road, municipal road and barangay road. Why not ask your Barangay Captain if what road classification does Lagundi-Pinugay belong? If its a Provincial Road, the maintainance will come from the budget of the Provincial Government. If it is municipal, its the local government deemed responsible for its road improvement, and if it is Barangay Road, the budget must be from the coffer of the National Government thru the pork barrel of the Congressman assigned in the District. Diverting funds in one way or the other is subject for approval from the higher authority and please let me clarify that all roads has its annual maintainance budget, that’s the reason why you sometimes see bulldozers in the area to control the vegetation.

The Lagundi-Pinugay Road, as far as I know is classified as municipal road, but the problem here is hindi maisaayos ng municipality of Baras, although sakop pa rin ito ng Baras, kasi karamihan sa mga botante nito at sa Morong bumoboto, walang pakinabang; hindi rin naman ito pinakikialaman ng municipality of Morong dahil hindi nga rin naman ito sakop ng kanilang bayan.
Sa ngayon, nakikipag-ugnayan kami sa parehong punong bayan to resolve the problem, but the problem is maraming appointment, may ibang lakad, at kung anu-ano pang alibi.
Tuwing eleksyon na lang, ipinapangako na gagawan ng paraan na ipapaayos ang daan, pero kapag naupo na, nananatiling pangako. Kapag malapit na ang eleksyon, panay patambak sa mga lubak, pinapadaanan ng bulldozer, pero sa kasamaang palad, mas lalong lumala ang daan, sapagkat kung umulan eh halos hindi madaanan ng sasakyan ang kalsad, Grabe!
Sana pakialaman na ito ng National government…sayang lang ang pagkakahalal namin sa inyo.

I think the best remedy that you can get is to bring the issue to the Provincial Government. You have to talk to your Barangay Captain for formal endorsement in black and white addressing the issue to the Provincial Governor since that is boundary road improvement matters. That is usually the case of road boundaries and this is not the first. There are problems much bigger than this like the boundary dispute of Barangay Pinugay where taxes are divided to 4 municipalities like Teresa, Antipolo, Tanay and Baras and Lagundi-Pinugay road is not an exemption. So if you really want to help your kababayan residing in the area, my suggestion could be possible. 12 years ago, when a friend of mine asked help from the Barangay Captain of Santiago when the Home of Street Children was damage by strong typhoon that includes even the New Municipal Building. My friend never hesitate in asking some help from the people she knew could be of great help for the survival of the project. Since the Home for the Street Children is a project of NGO, and have to stand its own resources. Hopeless that she was during that time, she went to the Barangay Captain of Santiago, asked some endorsement and submit her request together with the endorsement signed by the Barangay Captain to the Provincial Governor. After few days of inspection by the people assigned by the Provincial Engineer the Construction materials was then delivered to the site and finally the Home was repaired. In your case taga-rito my suggestion could always be possible if you are really there to help your kababayans. You just have to stand strong and intellectually equipped in whatever endeavors you wish to achieve. There is no harm in trying. JFK once quote..”ASK NOT WHAT YOUR COUNTRY CAN DO FOR YOU; ASK WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY”.

What kind of Character does any voter want for his candidates? There are many character defined in a individual. There is a police character, gambling addict, drug addict, corrupt, ect.
If the candidate that he is has a Good Moral CHARACTER, and well planned OUTPUT, the town will move forward to its right Direction. They must have the political will to institute basic reforms in our flawed societal structure, that mirrors the peoples complacency in asserting our God given rights to live with dignity, peace and freedom.

THE TOWN NEEDS A LEADER WHO HAS A CONSCIENCE. THE LEADER SHOULD ALSO KNOW HOW TO RESPECT TO DESERVE THE PEOPLE’S RESPECT, TOO. AND MOST OF ALL THAT LEADER SHOULD HAVE A TRUE LOVE TO THE TOWN AND ITS PEOPLE.
These political officials are always condemned for almost anything and everything that’s been going on with the community they’re holding office because that’s how they want it to be. If something good happened, they want to be associated with it. If it’s bad, don’t be sorry for them, coz that’s always the case. You can smell a rotten fish from a mile than a fragrant flower!
The political scenario in our town never changes. These politicians know where they’re going even before they seek office. I don’t think they care much if the people question every move (or for not moving at all) they made. As long as they’re in office, being recognized as an elected official, receiving they’re paychecks and having the oppurtunity to earn more bucks from some projects, they don’t give a damn to what we are saying about them!
Oh! I almost forgot, they also enjoy watching Pacquiao’s games in person! Regalo daw ni Gov! Sana close kami ni Gov para makanood din ako ng boksing sa Amerika!

to batangkalye: Are you referring to baras town public officials or Rizal Province officials in general?
Please be specific so that everyone reading this will have an idea what are you bitching about. Okay, Gov. Ynarez is one, and who are the others…. cause if you want to expose em then go ahead and drop names them here. Mahirap yun may accusations ka tapos dumbfounded naman pala or wala basis, how do we know if its true or not? Kung meron man then we would like to know. We can always have that verified.
If we have solid basis then, we have them lifestyle checked and there are gov’t agencies to lodge whatever issues we need to verify, Ombudsman, Civil Service, COA, DBM etc, it all depends to what type of complain you are referring to.
If you don’t have facts and full basis then I tend to assume these are speculations, hearsays, character assasination whatever you call it, paninira puri un.
The burden of proof lies with you but if you have the gut feeling its true then what I ask from you is to cite instance how you come up with this impression.
WE have the right to rant and bitch on this thread and put these officials in the firing line but there should be factual basis by doing that. What am asking here is that we should be responsible for whatever we throw against them.
I may not have the right to suppress you and others on what we post but am gonna ask you if we are goin to be responsible enough to stand on what we speak. LEt me cite an example here: like am gonna accuse just an example that our mayor is a gambler, extortionist, womanizer, etc… or another one… say like if one of those official is your relative and somebody accusses him of being corrupt etc… or worse accused of being a murder master-mind??? How would you feel?
If all these are TRUE then GO AHEAD make our day so we know who to scratch off our list come ELECTIONS… Lets be SENSIBLE on what we speak.

This is just a piece of advise to the commentators of this site(take it or leave it.) PLEASE BE SPECIFIC as to what comment your about to post. THis topic is very sensitive. When you throw issues about our leaders it must be and it should be supported by evidence. There are people that are subjective and less objective to a certain issues especially when touching the lives and dignity of the people nearest to them. Baras is just a small town and everybody knows everybody. Almost everyone are related to each other if not by blood, by affinity. The main purpose of this thread discussion is to raise issues or negative decisions against these public officials…. NOBODY would look into Good things they have done but on the BAD… that’s how pinoy style works but on the upside this will give insights to this politicians for areas of improvement that if they have the will to improve and look into the farewell of majority in need.

At siguro hindi naman kaila sa inyo na malaki ang utang ng lokal na pamahalaan bago umupo si Mayor Robles bilang alkalde ng Baras. At kasama na doon ang GSIS na contribusyon ng mga empleyado na kinaltas sa kanilang mga sweldo.
Dapat maging responsable tayo sa pagpapahayag ng ating mga saloobin..Nang dahil lang sa mga hinaing natin na hindi agad naaksyonan ng mga namumuno sasabihin na natin hindi sila karespe respeto. Hi po…, alam po ninyo, mas malaki ang problema namin mga TAGABUNDOK kaysa sa pag-aaral ng mga kapatid ninyo. Unang-una po, pangit na ang kaldasa, walang kuryente, walang sapat na kabuhayan ang mga tao, walang mapagkunan ng malinis na tubig at sapat na gamot para sa mga nagkakasakit. Salamat lang lang po at ang isa kong kapatid ay nagtatrabaho bilang isang Barangay Health Worker, kaya paminsan-minsan ay naaanyayahan ang mga kasamahan niya na mag-bahay bahay para tingnan ang kalusugan ng mga tao, lalo na ang mga bata at buntis nang sa gayon ay mabigyan ng kaukulang lunas sa mga karamdaman.
Ako po ay isang mag-aaral lamang sa mataas na paaralan sa kasalukuyan at may concern ako sa tungkol dito sa aming lugar; akala ng iba tatakbo ako for mayor, hehe (WOW MALI, JOKE ONLY). Salamat po doon sa mga taong nakakaunawa sa aming kalagayan dito, at sa mga taong lalo pang umaapak sa aming kalagayan, maawa naman po kayo sa amin, magkaroon naman po kayo ng concern kahit katiting.
Hindi ko po sinasabing dumating sa puntong mamalimos ang sinuman para mabigyang solusyon ang aming mga karaingan, pero mayroon po silang magagawa para masolusyunan ang bagay na ito.
Sa palagay po ninyo, kung ilalapit ni mayor ang problemang ito sa ang mahal na kongreswoman o sa ating gobernador, (kung wala mang budget para dito ang ating bayan), tatanggihan ba nila ito? Ano po ang palagay ninyo?

This is good issue needs to be addressed as far am concerned not like others like who are irresponsible and starting attacking personally. Sana mabasa ito ni Mayor at Sangguniang bayan ng Baras. I think this is a long issue you all need to address and act upon and not provide us an excuse why you are not able to.
Sana ganito un issue nakikita at nasusulat dito hindi tulad ni batangkalye attacking me personally and branding me as TUTA daw, hehehe baka kasi siya un TUTA at alam ko kung sino… To batangkalye: wag kang pakalat-kalat sa kalye ng Baras hane? I appreciate what Pro-Life commented above this blog. Maganda ang mga nabanggit niya tungkol sa present administration ni Mayor Robles. In addition to this, pwede po bang may magkumento pa ng tungkol sa mga pagbabago sa bayan ng Baras. I am referring to all new things (good or bad) that is now happenings. If not many but just say something specific so as we from abroad will be well-knowledgeable enough. Kasi po, being far away from home for many years, we are just ignorant of how our place looks like now.
Kamukha din ba ng dati o may nabago ba, o nag-improved? – gusto lang pong maki-balita.
That’s the reason why I always read BRO.

Ang budget ng office of the Mayor, plus MOOE at 20% Development Fund, Capital Outlay, at Calamity Fund ay umaabot ng di umano’y 20Million sa loob ng isang taon. Kung gusto nating talagang makita ang performance ng nakaupo, itanong natin kung ano ang pinagastusan sa 120 Million na budget ng naturing opisina lamang sa loob ng anim na taon? Yan ang magiging kasagutan sa tanong “What have they done wrong?”

Isa pang batayan sa sagot sa tanong “Where have they gone wrong”? ay ang tinatawag na “lifestyle check” sa mga nakaupo. Sino sila bago sila mapunta sa munisipyo? Kaya ba nilang magsabong at pumusta ng malaki sa malalaking derby? Ano ba ang kanilang hanap buhay noon? Nakakakain at nakakainom ba sila sa mga magagandang restaurant? Meron ba silang mga bagong sasakyan? Nakapagpagawa ba sila ng bahay o nakpagbayad ng mga pagkakautang? Sila ba ay laman ng “gudtayman”. Sino ba sila nuon at sino ba sila ngayon? This is my personal comment: maybe they really did well and did more projects than other administrations in the past like blitzkrieg was trying to say and maybe they are doing and planning more projects today for the town but I am thinking– how many percent of the budget was really used for the said project and how many was left on their pocket? Sana nagpopost sila publicly thru phamplets or bulletin board ng mga list ng mga nagawa na nilang project, ng nagastos, actual fund at natitirang pera ng bayan so the people will know. Yung ibang bayan kasi ginagawa yun regularly—I think it can be a help.

Well to you and batangkalye please tell him to think before he writes as you can see he seems to be very inconsistent in his comments you know what i mean. With series of email exchanges, I noted negative comments addressed to our officials and at bloggers themselves. After all these efforts, and if you have to evaluate the results of these contributions, we could not identify any positive impact(s).
“Ask what you can do for your town and townmates” should be the paradigm shift from “what I can benefit from”. Let us ask our officials and fellow bloggers, what can we do to help them and what type of projects we can come up for our town. I believe that if we channel our wisdom and marshall our resources together to produce something concrete and positive to benefit our town/townmates, then we can feel good about ourselves, together as a TEAM (Together Everyone Accomplish More ).

Recognize that a public official’s private life is not always private.
While there is much to decry in the sensational nature of today, sometimes the public does have a legitimate interest in the private affairs of a government official. There’s no bright line, but here are some things to avoid:
- Don’t conduct private business using city equipment or facilities. When you spend work time, paid for by the people, on sending more than 800 instant messages to one woman in a six-week period, and you do this on your municipal-issued cell phone, the public has a right to know about it.
- Don’t enter into romantic relationships with people who contract with the government entity for which you work. This creates obvious potential for conflicts of interest.
- Don’t enter into romantic relationships with another woman especially who works in your office. Can the public really expect to get objective information in such a situation?
- Don’t campaign on an issue if you don’t want to be held accountable for it. Your private life may be your own, but if your ads show you with your family, if you focus on family values, you cannot then be outraged when the public find reports on any infidelities.
- Do not engage in a pattern and practice of private conduct that adversely impacts the overall culture of your organization. One town employee having an affair may not be a public matter, but when municipal hall becomes the scene of indecent action in the stairwells, midnight poker, and freely available pornography (website PC), the environment for conducting public affairs prudently is affected, and the public has a right to know.
- Fair or no, expect that scrutiny is a part of public life, especially for officials like town mayor or governor.
Para sa mga naka-upong officiales o sa mga kakandidato at uupo pa, ay ilan lang po ito na maging gabay para maging maganda ang image nila sa bayan.

To Mr Administrator:
After reading all the responses here, either negative or positive,I came up in an opinion like Why not chAnge the topic into positive. I mean instead of asking WHAT HAVE THEY DONE WRONG? why not ask WHAT HAVE THEY DONE GOOD?
Maybe by using that question, the door will be open to see the positive side of the present administration. Aside from that, the negative and positive comments about their administration (maybe) will have a balance venue on this site.
Moreover, I am calling or inviting also those people from our present local govt seat to take this chance or use BRO to tell or inform the people of Baras of what you have done good for their welfare.

May mga guro na sa eskwelahan na lang natutulog dahil sa layo ng eskwelahan mula sa kanilang mga tahanan, may mga eskwelahan sa mga kabundukan na walang kuryente, paano nakapag-aaral ng maayos ng mga bata? (ang tinitukoy ko po ay ang siyudad ng Antipolo), ang po kaya ang ginagawa ng gobernador natin tungkol dito?

hay…si konsehal Ruba na taga-amin, ala man lang naipakitang ebidensiya na karapat-dapat pa siyang maihalal sa susunod. Kala ko nung mahalal siya, tutulungan niyang mapaganda ang pamumuhay ng kanyang mga kababayan, pero hayun…ewan ko kung anong ginagawa.

1.0 Naging Mayor na kaya lang manloloko at magician abugado daw pero abugingging lang, minagic pa ang 500 naging 20.
2.0 Naging vice mayor may negosyong matatag, kaya lang may multo sa mga pagkatalo niya na babalik balikan siya.
3.0 Mga independiente na nagpapakilala baka may mapili na tayo sa kanila.
4.0 Ang kasalukuyang nakaupo – subok na napagsasabay sabay ang pambabae sa ospital,munisipyo, sa bahay, sa antipolo, lihim yan pero maingay yung mga girls kaya naririnig sa kabila, at ang pagiging mayor ng baras. nagcocomplement naman sila ng Bise nya.
Konklusyon : Sa mayor: si Willie uli kasi ( sa sussunod bokal na siya), sa Vice si Nato, sa konsehal top na diyan si Ruba, Mario, MOnay, at Jovie.

Kung may corrupt sa Baras, walang na tatalo sa pamilya Mendoza. Isipin mo mula sa Nanay hanngang sa anak, lahayt nakupo sa pwesto. Wala na bang ibang magaling sa Baras kundi ang mge Mendoza? Mayor gising! Yan ang magpapabagsak sayo.

yang mga munisipal employee, hay naku head of office, may mga sarisari ng pamilya eh bkit ba gumagwa sila ng ikasisira ng pamilya, lalo na yan MSWd…hindi lang iisang lalaki ang nalilink sa knya, sobra ang pagpapaganda at pagpapaseksi, pati taga kbilang opisina my hawak sa knya, un ntuluyang magresigne, sa opisina mo my mga kliyente ka na tinutulungan mo para maayos ang pagsasama ng mag asawa, pero srili mong pamilya ikaw pa sumisira. hay naku. alang problema sa mayor empleyada lang nya.

tama na yan!! anong kaguluhan to? , kung sino manalo suportahan na lang bawi na lang sa susunod na eleksyon talagang ganoon ang pulitika may nanalo at nadaya. wala naman talagang natatalo sa eleksyon so at least kung di ka nakaupo ay konswelo mo hindi ka natalo kundi nadaya. bawi na lang next time.

@magdalow– kamutin mo likod ko pero sa pagkamot mo sa liko ko sisiguraduhin ko na mas nakamot mo ang liko ko. I mean, pagalingan yan sa pagkuha ng mas malaking interes. One definition of politics was made by Harold Lasswell: politics is who gets what, when and how. In short, superficially, there is a compromise but deep inside, there is a personal interests that must be protected, if not aggrandized.

Ang mga tao ang boses ng bayan may natapos na kurso o wala, lahat sila ay may katwiran. Ang napapansin ko sa bayan natin ay mabagal ang pag-unlad ang inisip kasi ng mga nanungkulan sa pwesto ay pansarili nila kapakanan. Dapat bayan muna bago ang sarili. Kaya di na tumaas ang antas ng pamumuhay ng mga tao at umuunlad lang ay yong mga kababayan natin nakipagsapalaran sa ibang bansa, Siguro panahon na para magising sa maling sistema at ang isipin ay ang ikauunlad ng bayan. Ang mga sumusunod na problema nakita ko sa bayan ay ang mga sumusunod: maraming jobless, wala konkreto proyekto pangkaunlaran, maraming mahihirap na di na bibigyan ng tamang tulong. Panahaon na sa Pagbabago!
