In yet another development, through the efforts of Mayor Dindo, Engr. Querubin, former Municipal Engineer, has won his case filed by the Pinugay tenants with the Supreme Court, thereby allowing him to get his retirement benefits and go back to govt. service in another position or capacity where there is a vacancy. Sana naman ma recognize ng INC ang efforts ni Mayor Dindo ng pagtulong sa mga kaanib nito, kahit wala siya sa pwesto.

Funny, but when individuals from other places inquire as to why Baras doesn’t have Mercury Drug, Save More and a University satellite campus…all that we could give as an answer is “Morong is center of education” while “Tanay is center of Commerce” and so “BARAS is center of centers”

Until when shall we remain as center of centers?

That will be the biggest problem of Mar Roxas. It will be very difficult for him to sustain a nationwide campaign without directly supporting local candidates from governor to mayor. As things are in Rizal, the lines are already clearly drawn. It’s a Cuerpo (Lakas and supported by the NPC Rodriguez/ Kampi Puno/ and Liberal Gatlabayan and Sanchez) vs. the group of PMP Ynares/Duavit. Cuerpo is expected to support the Admin endorsed Presidential candidate and Ynares the Opposition candidate. The Local line ups will just go by these groupings. Mayor Dindo as I have heard is a close ally of Mayor Cuerpo!!

4 parties as one? Parang kape – 4 in one!!!! dream team talaga pero parang IMPOSSIBLE DREAM ! The Liberal Party will have Mar Roxas as the Presidential Standard Bearer, but as for the local set-up, the party is still divided and will regroup only for the aim of a common stand for national election. The project now is named BALIK LIBERAL, to search former Liberal P. members, and their families. At present, majority of the Liberal Party Officers and the members of the Executive Committee still give strong support to the present administration. Unless, of course, a huge turn-around will occur with irrepairable issues by the administration. It is still a wait-and-see thing. SULONG LIBERAL !!!!
