Common poster areas identified

Based in a document posted in their local office, the following are the areas where candidates can post their campaign materials:
-In front of the old municipal building, along JP Rizal street
-Basketball court along JP Rizal street, in Barangay Evangelista
-In front of the new municipal building along JP Rizal street, Barangay Santiago
-Corner of Sitio Pader road to Pinugay Elementary School, in Sitio Pader, Barangay Pinugay, and
-Painaan Road corner Marcos Hi-Way, Sitio Painaan in Barangay Pinugay.
The Comelec office’s door is locked so no interview can be done with their officials.
According to Comelec Resolution 8758, “common poster area” is defined as “a structure… that is temporarily set up by the candidates or political parties for the exclusive purpose of displaying their campaign posters.” Comelec also identified the sizes of the campaign materials. Posters that are made of cloth, paper or cardboard should not exceed two feet by three feet, while streamers should not exceed three feet by eight feet.
