Shabu capital of Rizal?

Posted on March 13, 2008, 7:20 AM under Baras in the News, Police Beat

For the second time, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency confiscated a billion peso worth of chemicals used to manufacture methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as “shabu.” The raid was done in Sitio Gugu in Barangay San Jose.

On June 8 last year, a similar raid was done in the same sitio, same barangay. I wonder how barangay captain Flordeliza Fernando would react on this.

Has Baras came to be the shabu capital of Rizal?

Nakakagimbal ito! Do you have any reaction received so far from the barangay captain or the municipal authorities about these drug-related incidents in Baras?

yan ang dapat tutukan ng mga militar hindi yong mga mliliit na mamayan na user lamang. pag nasakote ang lahat ng labaratoryo ng shabu. wala nang magagamit ang mga user…

This is corruption in it’s finest form which clearly involve local leadership. The local government is highly infested with corrupt officials & pretty much gains monetary profits (probably millions)from a partnership with big time drug lords protected by some “big boys” in the national government. Not being aware or ignorance to these activities no longer works as an excuse. People are on the”take”!
