What’s wrong in Wawa?
Posted on October 22, 2011, 9:00 PM under Places to VisitAs part of a photography project, I visited the rest house in Barangay Santiago. Lo and behold, instead of seeing green pastures, it was flooded.
Three weeks prior to that was typhoon ‘Pedring,’ which, as far as I can remember, brought strong winds and less of rain. Although I am not certain if it was the typhoon that brought the water, what I am concerned is the fact that a week after my first visit, almost nothing has changed as far as the volume of water is concerned. We have to remember that this place in Barangay Santiago is parallel to the Laguna de Bay.

I guess it’s only a matter of time before the whole town gets flooded a la Ondoy.
