I am planning to create a Facebook account where I can upload photos I have taken for the past six years. A FB member could also have their pictures tagged. Barasenians (and people in general) automatically pose when they see cameras and even shout, “Picture, picture.” For the meantime, here are some photos I have taken during the Tromba Festival last May 1. By the way, I do not own
Thank God that not a single drop of rain fell last May 1 during the Agape. It would have ruined a fun night, courtesy of artists, particularly that of the Philippine Army.

This is my seventh year of covering the activities during May 1. All the activities are pretty much easy to cover, with the exception of the fluvial parade, or pagoda sa ilog.
The Commission on Elections has released the ballot templates for local positions. You may want to view the image so that you would know which circle to shade after making your choice of candidate. Listed as well are the candidates for local positions.

Admit it or not, this year’s election is a three-cornered fight among Mayor Wilfredo Robles, former mayor Dindo Garciano and former vice mayor Villamor Ocampo. I was able to listen to some speeches the other night, on the proclamation rally of the Robles camp. Last night, the Garciano party held a campaign meeting in Barangay San Jose, steps away from our house.
