When I was covering last Sunday’s local version of Showtime, I noticed something in the tarpaulin in the stage. It said “Ika-90 Taong Pagdiriwang ng Pagiging Ganap na Bayan” and “Pistang Bayan ng Baras.”

Meralco Lights Up Baras Church

You’ve probably seen the advertisement by Meralco, and wonder why the church looks familiar. Yes, that church is Saint Joseph Parish church, which recently was lit up by the Rizal sector of the energy distributor. Here’s an initial photo of the church. I’ll update this post tomorrow.
