This just in. Half an hour ago I was in the town plaza to watch the amateur singing contest sponsored by the Falcon Civic Club. At around 12:10 AM, I noticed a commotion in my back. Apparently, two women were pulling each other’s hair. My photojournalism instinct in me prompted me to take pictures of the fight. Police came in (uniformed and un-uniformed) and was able to separate the two fighting women. They were not identified.

As I am writing this, I could still hear a contestant singing. Tomorrow at 6 AM, a mass will be held in Saint Joseph Parish to be followed by the Pagoda sa Ilog. At 2 PM, the Tromba kay Maria will commence at the church plaza. Agape, which is basically a night street party will be held at 6:30 PM. Fifteen local bands and folk singers will be featured.
