you still don’t get my point.
what i just said, nakakalungkot kase sa sports events madalas nagsisimula ang drugs, etc. i have nothing against having a sports activities in our town. as i’ve said, i spent my youth enjoying sports. that’s why i knew about the extra curricular activities ng mga players and coaches. i suggest, what the people in command should do, is not just commence the sports but rather watch the events more carefully so not to give the youth and the pushers the chance to have a touch on drugs.
nagmamalasakit, you said that i should join you in saving the youth. don’t worry, i already started saving some of them long before this website exists. i’ve been a very active contributor to my community whenever there’s a sports events. it’s just sad that i am no longer physically present that i no longer participate anymore. besides, not just in sports that i am helpful. at my age (early 30s), i already sent some youth to college and still helping some. i am saying these things so you know that i am not just good in writings but also in actions. we don’t need to know who we are. what’s important is that we know how to read and listen to what we say here. we should not just throw criticisms to each other especially when we don’t fully understand what the other people meant. be careful next time, please.

Tama Ka kabayan. Laging may bukas ! Kung iiwanan natin ang laban, kawawa naman ang mga kababayan natin…. You may be thousands of miles away, but many thanks with the technology now.. you said it all florante. due to my absence for more than 20 years in Baras… ‘dehins ko alam na ganyan na pala ngayon ang sports sa Baras. talagang walang pag-asa.
..noong araw bata pa ako ay na-mi-miss ko ang every sunday softball events between mabini braves and team pag-asa. akala ko pwede pang mangyari uli iyon.
..tuloy na-iisip ko na wag na lang magbalikbayan sa atin dahil sa dami ng katarantaduhan na nalaman ko ngayon sa mga sinabin ni florante.

Cool lang my friends!!! We will always agree on sports as character development tool for the youth. Well, iba ‘ata ang “dini-develop” sa atin. Softball and Baseball are losing popularity, but we have now rumble, gamble, dedbol, at si Tambol. Wala nga tayong Scuba Diving, but we now have Shabu Trading. Meron daw tayong sikaran!! Saan? Mag-surf ka and you will see Sikaran so popular in The States!!! Taga-Baras and head nila. Paano, ayaw pansinin sa bayan natin. Chess and Games-of-the-Generals are now replaced with Mahjong and Tong-its! Wala nga tayong horseback riding, because we don’t have horses, but, a lot of horsing around!!! Walang swimming, because you’ll throw-up in our river-like sump-pit and in the lake of sludge. The richy rich? They swim on their beds of corrupted peso bills! And of course, we have Sports Clashes of Sabong!! No golf, but gulp, gulp, gulp!!! Emperador, Matador, GSM, Tanduay, Gin, Cobra-Lambanog…… name it man!!! WE HAVE THEM ALL! Steeple-chase? No, robbery-chase, car-chase! May tricycle race, mtorcycle race, that resulted in deaths of so many! MIdnight bosses lustfully danced the night away with all the strokes, BREASTstroke, Butterfly, Backstroke, and Freestyle!! No 100,200,400 meter dash or any running of sort. Every 3 years, a lot of running transpires for the prize of corruption, power, guns, and golds. Weather-weather lang daw, ika nga!! But, we have erratic weather now because of climate change! Ingat kayo! Baka kayo ang tamaan ng Weather-Weather Lang! The Hall is like a clogged gym. Basketball is played. Vault being tossed in the hoop, elbows flying that caused BUKOL all around. A driving lay-up with TONG-PATS all over. No Zone defense, but PERMISSIBLE ZONE by Lozada. Dun lahat ng games, man!! Padding, Diverting, Laundering, Lying, Laying, all to gain the GREED TROPHY!

hindi dapat sabihin na sa mga sports event nagsisimula ang masamang bisyo, bagkus ito pa ang nagpapalawak ng kaisipan at kakayahan ng mga kabataan para paunlarin ang kanilang sarili, tulad ng disiplina, kalusugan, at pakikipag-teamwork.
dito sa states ay ang sports event ang parating nagdidibelop sa mga bata at naiiwasan ang pagsali ng iba sa mga gang dahil meron siyang laging activities manalo man o matalo. iilang porsyento lang ang nabubuyo sa bisyong masama (addict) kung talagang losser ka.
