Armingol Pilapil with Dindo Garciano

The family of former Mayor Dionisio Donato Garciano and other bets belonging to Lakas-CMD party heard the mass this morning, hours before they are set to file their certificates of candidacy.
Interestingly, Vice Mayor Armingol Pilapil who belongs to the ruling National People’s Coalition, stood near Garciano during the blessing of parish priest Romarico Hilario. Yesterday, members of his party asked for the blessing of Hilario, and although Pilapil was present in 9 AM mass as a lay minister, he did not attend the blessing. Pilapil wore a red shirt, while Dindo and his companions wore green.
During Hilario’s homily, he emphasized the sacrifice made by Saint Andrew who, together with his brother Peter, left all their belongings to join Jesus. Hilario said that many people heard God’s calling for service, including government service, but few heeded to the call. Here’s the podcast of Hilario’s homily.
