Christmas Decors 2009

If you’re not here in Baras, or is outside of the country, here are some photos of Christmas decors setup in the municipal hall and the church.
Taken during the first day of simbang gabi last December 16.
The stars in the municipal building represent the 10 barangays.
The curtain of Christmas lights can be seen in the old municipal building, which also houses the police station.

It so nice to look at this photo. Bring back the past,remember, walking with your pals going to church with Christmas song (opm) in the air coming from our old church, the Banda 49 rooming around the whole town telling us to get up from our bed, Church bells ringing reminding us to celebrate the Holy Mass,Uhhhhh. Wake me up, take me back home. I want to feel the breeze of Laguna de bay, the smell of bibinka, puto bungbung and don’t forget the arroz caldo from the palenke ni Ka Mary, biko ni Nanay ni Ka Nini. Come let us all go back to BARAS. MALIGAYANG PASKO AT MASAGANANG BAONG TAON. BLESS US ALL & PEACE TO ALL MANKIND
