The Regional Office IV of the Department of Interior and Local Government recently recognized the Municipality of Baras, Rizal as a “model LGU” with good practices for its organic farming project.
For any first time visitor of this website, one would notice that almost all the comments are political in nature. It’s been more than three years after the tripartite agreement among the Municipality of Baras, Rizal, University of Rizal System and the Organic Producers Trade Association was signed. The following photos were taken Dec. 15, 2004 at Manila Tat in Baras. Has anything changed?
I wrote this article after encountering a heavy traffic going home sometime in June 2004. The vehicles were parked in the roadside, in front of the Villanueva building in Barangay Rizal, along the National Road.
