Finally, after three and a half months of waiting, the local government’s flagship project of “organic farming” gets featured in the country’s leading newspaper the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Come June 2008, we will release Baras Balita newspaper edition. The long delayed newspaper will cover events and issues in the past year. Aside from the municipal projects, we would like to publish articles that will promote Baras, inspire its people, and in essence, live up the Barasenian spirit.
