Baras Church in GMA 7 Christmas Station ID
Posted on November 12, 2009, 4:29 PM under Baras in the NewsI seldom watch TV nowadays so I was surprised to see Saint Joseph parish church in GMA 7′s Christmas station ID.

According to GMA 7, the scene in the church was shot during while Typhoon Santi was hammering Baras. “While shooting the church scene in Baras, the team had to contend with Typhoon Santi blowing across Luzon at storm signal number 3, which gave a touch of verisimilitude to the segment,” the network said
“The creative team behind the station ID coined the term ‚ÄúPasalove” to celebrate the Filipino‚Äôs immense capacity to spread love around, just as the nation had witnessed during the past calamities,” the Kapuso channel said in a news update.
The video is 2 minutes 30 seconds long. The church can be seen beginning at 2:03. The shots included the interior of the church including its well lit facade. The feature lasted for 23 seconds.
